Summer Mission Trips

Once again StudentLife will be setting out to share the love of God through service and ministry on our summer missions trips! These trips are a great opportunity for students to grow in their faith and in community with each other as they serve in low income communities by doing work projects, running a VBS, and witnessing about their faith.

PLEASE NOTE:  March 1 is the early bird deadline to get your permission slip and deposit in and secure a lower rate!

Our mission experience for Crave (senior high) is Mission: Chicago and we will be serving on the north side of the city with a ministry called Jesus People USA. Along with serving the students will have a few opportunities to take in the sights of the city, do some shopping, visit one of the many museums, relax on the beach and have a slice of famous Chicago style pizza. Check out CraveChicago.blogspot.com for more information!

For Element (junior high) we'll be heading back to Muskegon and resuming our partnership with Muskegon Rescue Mission. While in Muskegon during their down time students will have the opportunity to go to the beach, hang out and play games and the trip will cap off with a visit to Craig's Cruisers for go-carts, laser tag and some arcade style fun. Make sure to visit MissionMuskegon.blogspot.com for all the details!

StudentLife summer missions are a much loved tradition of our year and are always a blast! They are also a great way to meet new people and build relationships if you have been looking for an easy opportunity to get plugged in.  We're planning amazing trips with lots of great stories and memories! Will you join us?

StudentLife Loves Parents!

Here at StudentLife, we fully believe that parents are the greatest influence on the spiritual development of their teens. As a result, it is our desire to partner with parents and provide them resources and opportunities for their students to encounter God in new and exciting ways.

As a parent, if you ever have a question about the ministry, an event, or series, please do not hesitate to contact Aaron at aaron@mpcc.org.

Parents are also a huge part of keeping the ministry running. You can contribute in a variety of roles to fill a wide range of needs including, but not limited to:
  • Weekly facility needs (ie: stocking cafe, programming set up, construction projects, etc.)
  • Provide food or snacks for an event
  • Serve as an operations team member during programming (welcome, attendance, etc.)
  • Serve occasionally on a parents advisory team (allow Aaron to bounce ideas off you)
  • Cheerleader (encourage your student to jump into StudentLife events, talk about the ministry, etc.)
  • And much more! (insert your gift here...)
Contact Aaron at aaron@mpcc.org to partner with StudentLife!

Thank you for your support and for lending us your students. We appreciate all you do! ~Aaron
